　　新購電子書－「Gale Virtual Reference Library」。

　　Gale Virtual Reference Library(GVRL)是由Gale出版社出版。收錄各類學科領域之重要工具書。範圍涵蓋藝術、傳記、商業、教育、環境、歷史、法律、文學、多元文化研究、宗教、科學及社會科學等。

　　臺灣學術電子書聯盟於2009年採購的Gale電子書部份為：

    1. 得獎參考著作精選 (共44種 / 240冊)。收錄由美國各參考書協會或機構，每年所評選出之年度最佳參考資源，挑選出的各主題之經典系列。
    2. 人文社會參考著作精選 (共214種 / 331冊)。收錄較重要之人文、商學及法律、社會政治議題及經濟現象等指標性之參考資料。
